ADJUNCT POSITION IN PSYCHOLOGY: American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for an adjunct teaching position in psychology starting August 2025, covering one or two courses in the fall semester. We welcome candidates from any specialization, with the ability to teach one of several areas: developmental, abnormal, organizational, cultural or biological psychology, as well as psychotherapy and counseling. Class meetings are held twice weekly across Sharjah’s four-day work week (Monday to Thursday).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a master’s or PhD in psychology (or PsyD) as well as professional experience reflecting strong commitments to teaching or service in the discipline. Candidates with a master’s degree must show at least one of the following qualifications in order to be considered for the position: (1) substantial professional experience in psychology beyond the completion of the degree; (2) prior teaching experience in psychology, ideally at the university level; or, (3) a record of academic publications that shows experience with research at the university level.
