Workshop Supervisor

We are hiring a motivated and experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure that all repairs, maintenance, and service activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to customers while managing workshop staff effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily workshop operations, ensuring timely completion of work.

• Allocate tasks and monitor the performance of technicians and mechanics.

• Inspect and ensure the quality of all repairs, servicing, and maintenance jobs.

• Coordinate with the service advisors and parts department for smooth workflow.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Diagnose complex vehicle issues and provide technical support when required.

• Ensure that workshop tools and equipment are maintained properly and kept in good condition.

• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and consumables, and place orders as needed.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management review.

• Conduct training and mentoring sessions to enhance the skills of workshop staff.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• 5–7 years of experience in automotive workshop operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• In-depth knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and maintenance practices.

• Excellent leadership, team management, and organizational skills.

• Strong technical problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in workshop management systems and MS Office tools.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

• UAE driving license is highly preferred.

• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
