Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces as necessary.

Apply paint or coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers to designated surfaces.
Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality standards and identify any necessary touch-ups.
Maintain and clean painting equipment, such as spray guns and hoses, post-application.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure painting projects meet production deadlines.
Record and report any defects or issues found in the painted surfaces to supervisors.
Order and manage painting supplies inventory to ensure adequate stock is on hand.
Stay updated on new techniques and technologies in paint application processes.
Ensure compliance with all industry laws and regulations concerning paint application.
Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment to prevent future malfunctions.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent is often required for this position.
Previous experience in a painting, coating, or similar technical role is beneficial.
Proficiency in handling various paint application tools and equipment is essential.
Familiarity with safety protocols in painting and coating application processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality paint finishes.
Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
