Emerson Measurement Solutions - Lifecycle Services & Engineered Solutions (MSS) is a growth-focused business unit within Emerson’s Measurement Solutions business unit, delivering engineered solutions and lifecycle services across global markets. MSS drives customer engagement and product pull-through via its Centers of Excellence and is positioned for double-digit growth through strategic market expansion and capital project execution. Emerson’s MSS business is seeking a Global Sales Leader to spearhead commercial transformation, expand market visibility and drive systematic pursuit of complex capital projects. This role will lead the development of a Commercial Management Office (CMO), enabling scalable growth through structured processes, early customer engagement, and cross-border execution. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the commercial future of a global technology leader while building capabilities that will drive sustained competitive advantage in high-growth industrial markets.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develop and implement global go-to-market strategies for MSS solutions
- Lead capital project pursuit processes across global regions
- Build and manage a high-performing commercial team
- Establish and operationalize the Commercial Management Office
- Drive strategic customer engagement and value-based selling
- Achieve double-digit order growth and expand MSS’s market funnel
- Expand market visibility by 2028
- Improve win rates and reduce sales cycle times
- Capture complex multi-regional projects (FPSO, LNG, terminals, etc.)
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across sales, engineering, and operations

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum 10 years progressive commercial leadership experience in complex B2B industrial markets, with at least 5 years in global roles
- Proven track record of delivering double-digit growth in engineered solutions or capital equipment markets
- Matrix organization expertise with demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across multiple regions and cultures
- Capital projects experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or similar industries with long sales cycles (18+ months)
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Strategic selling mastery with experience in complex, multi-stakeholder selling environments involving EPCs, end users, and decision influencers
- Solutions architecture understanding of flow measurement, analytical systems, or related industrial automation technologies
- Business development excellence including market intelligence, competitive analysis, and opportunity development
- Financial savvy including P&L management, pricing strategy, and commercial risk assessment
- International business experience with demonstrated success in diverse markets including Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, Europe, and Americas
- Cross-cultural leadership ability to work effectively across time zones, cultures, and business practices
- Language capabilities preferred in key markets (Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, or other regional languages valuable)
