As a Van Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling our products directly to customers in designated areas, ensuring product availability, and achieving sales targets. You will be the face of our company to our customers and play a vital role in growing our customer base.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute daily sales routes to visit businesses, schools, and potential customers.
Promote and sell a range of stationery products, addressing customer needs and inquiries.
Develop a deep understanding of our stationery product offerings, including pens, notebooks, paper, and related items.
Provide expert recommendations to customers based on their requirements.
Take customer orders accurately, ensuring correct product selection and quantities.
Process orders promptly and coordinate delivery logistics for timely fulfillment.
Build strong and lasting relationships with customers by providing excellent service and personalized attention.
Address customer concerns, inquiries, and requests in a timely manner.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets by actively seeking new business opportunities and converting leads into sales.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
Utilize market insights to adapt sales strategies and identify potential areas for growth.
Provide regular sales reports, updates, and forecasts to the sales manager.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Plan efficient sales routes to ensure comprehensive coverage of your designated area.
Prioritize customer visits based on location and potential.
Gather customer feedback on products and services to relay to internal teams for enhancement.
Collaborate with colleagues and relevant teams to address customer needs and optimize processes.
Assist in setting up attractive product displays and merchandising arrangements at customer locations.
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field is advantageous.
Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role, preferably with experience in stationery sales.
Strong sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
Goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
In-depth knowledge of stationery products and their applications.
Familiarity with sales routes, territories, and navigation tools.
Ability to manage time, routes, and appointments efficiently.
Proficiency in using mobile devices, sales applications, and route optimization tools.
Ethical conduct and professionalism in customer interactions.
Valid driver's license and driving experience.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
