UX / UI Designer (225-923)

We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional design solutions that improve user experience and engagement. In this role, you will collaborate with other designers, developers, and product managers to create intuitive interfaces and bring concepts to life. You will be instrumental in understanding user needs and translating them into functional, appealing, and accessible interfaces that resonate with our audience. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to iterate on design concepts and improve usability.
• Ensure successful implementation of user interface designs in accordance with project timelines and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards for diverse projects and interfaces.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX components.
• Present and defend design decisions to peers, stakeholders, and executive level staff.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies in UI/UX design.
• Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using design tools.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for continuous product improvement.
• Test design deliverables incrementally for customer feedback and make adaptations based on findings.
• Ensure accessibility and inclusion standards are maintained across all digital interfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio of design projects.
• Proficiency in design software like Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus.
