Fundamental Hospitality is looking to hire an experienced Treasury Accountant to join our team at our Head Office in DIFC, Dubai.

The Treasury Accountant is responsible for overseeing and managing the companys cash flow, payments, and banking relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payments Processing:
• Process all domestic and international payments, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Verify payment requests against approved documentation and authorization limits.
• Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions.
• Verify the bank details with supplier as per the “supplier verification policy mention in the SOP”
• Petty Cash / Company Card:
• Company card should be funded based on the requirements of the operations.
• Responsible for all the head office DXB petty cash management and reconciliation.
• Cash Flow Management:
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor cash balances and optimize liquidity.
• Maintain post-dated cheques register.
• Identify potential cash shortages or surpluses and take proactive measures.
• Manage bank relationships and negotiate favourable terms.
• Bank KYC and Relationship Management:
• Maintain updated Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation for all bank accounts.
• Coordinate with relationship managers to resolve any banking issues or inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare regular financial reports on cash positions, bank balances, and payment activities.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
• Risk Management:
• Identify and assess potential financial risks, such as fraud and operational risks.
• Implement controls to mitigate risks and protect the companys assets.
• Confidentiality:
• Maintain strict confidentiality of bank balances, payment information, company documents and other sensitive financial data.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA or CA qualifications are advantageous
• Work Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years of UAE experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry
