The position of Telesales Executive is crucial for any organization aiming to boost their sales and widen their market reach. Responsibilities

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service.
  • Answer inquiries about product specifications, pricing, and other details from customers.
  • Record customer details and deal follow-up information accurately into databases.
  • Generate sales leads through telephone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction and retention goals.
  • Manage and maintain the customer database by keeping accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to reach or exceed target sales goals on a periodic basis.
  • Handle complaints or objections efficiently to maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed and coordinate follow-up efforts.
  • Frequently review sales performance and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Develop and refine telephone scripts to continually improve sales performance and efficiency.
  • Stay informed about the product offerings and latest industry trends affecting sales.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Telesales Executive or in a similar sales role.
  • Ability to learn about products and services quickly and explain them effectively.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and an engaging phone presence.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and databases related to the telesales role.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to handle rejection gracefully.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with further education preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a target-driven approach.
