Job Description

The role of a Telesales Executive is pivotal within a company's sales team, involving direct interaction with potential and existing clients over the phone with the aim of promoting products or services, generating leads, and ultimately securing sales. This role requires a dynamic individual who excels in communication, possesses strong persuasive skills, and has an ability to build rapport quickly with customers. A Telesales Executive must be equipped to navigate high-pressure environments, handle objections smoothly, and consistently meet or exceed set sales targets. Furthermore, candidates should have an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services, enabling them to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns. With a focus on delivering excellent customer service, the Telesales Executive contributes significantly to customer retention and expansion of the business's market share.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to generate sales.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive discussions.
  • Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services.
  • Exceed personal and team sales targets through innovative selling techniques.
  • Use customer feedback to optimize the sales approach and product offerings.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of potential and current customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic sales plans.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
  • Continuously update product knowledge to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve telesales skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all sales transactions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales role is required.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
  • Ability to learn about products and services efficiently for effective selling.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, is essential.
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and various telecommunication systems.
  • High school diploma; additional qualifications in sales or related fields preferred.
