Job Description

As a Supply Chain Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain operations for our organization. You are expected to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics, procurement, and warehousing solutions while maintaining high service levels. Your role will involve streamlining processes, managing supplier relationships, and working closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations. With your strategic vision and problem-solving skills, you will be instrumental in minimizing disruptions and ultimately driving the success of the supply chain department. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be tasked with implementing best practices and leveraging technology to optimize supply chain processes.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the supply chain department and its functions.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to integrate and improve logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
  • Maintain inventory levels by forecasting demand and monitoring stock availability.
  • Identify and manage risks within the supply chain network proactively.
  • Conduct regular analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies at all times.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of supply chain professionals.
  • Create and maintain documentation for procedures, purchases, and inventory records.
  • Implement and utilize supply chain software solutions to enhance operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for supply chain activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with strong problem-solving capabilities required.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
