Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective supply chain planning strategies for efficient operations.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely product availability.
Analyze historical demand data to forecast future supply needs accurately.
Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
Coordinate with logistics providers to streamline transportation operations and reduce costs.
Enhance relationships with existing suppliers to improve service and reduce costs.
Utilize supply chain management software to track and analyze performance metrics.
Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management regularly.
Assist in the negotiation of contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve supply chain processes and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies during supply chain activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, or logistics.
Proficiency with supply chain management software, such as SAP or Oracle.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with suppliers.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
Strong problem-solving skills aimed at optimizing supply chain processes and resolving issues.
