Job Description

The Supply Chain Executive plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of a company's supply chain operations. This position is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of products and manage inventory levels effectively. The Supply Chain Executive will work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to enhance supply chain value. The role involves strategic planning, analyzing supply chain efficiency, and implementing improvements to drive overall business performance. A successful candidate will have exceptional problem-solving skills, be analytical, and capable of making decisions in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to help the company meet customer demand more effectively while maintaining cost efficiency and growing the firm’s competitive advantage in the market.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to enhance collaboration.
  • Oversee the inventory management process, including forecasting and monitoring stock levels.
  • Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify area for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and rates.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and quality standards across the supply chain.
  • Implement supply chain solutions that improve system performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Develop strategies to optimize transportation costs and increase delivery efficiency.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory, demand forecasting, and supply chain performance.
  • Monitor changes or updates in logistics regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in supply chain operations and processes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues affecting supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex supply chain data.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for interacting with suppliers and trade partners.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, including ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
