Supervisor, Real Estate Valuations (Audit Support)

Responsibilities

You will be part of a team of Valuation Specialists that support the Audit Team by reviewing real estate valuations across a wide range of sectors for financial reporting purposes; so as to ensure alignment with the market, accounting and valuation standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing the appropriateness of valuation methodologies and underlying assumptions
  • Performing market research on comparable transaction prices, rental rates, discount rates and yields
  • Conducting complex analysis on Excel and developing valuation models
  • Engaging with Clients and the Audit Team to resolve any issues identified
  • Reporting findings in a clear and concise manner, documenting review procedures performed and market evidence to support the conclusion on Fair Values.

Qualifications And Education

  • An in-depth understanding of the application of all 5 valuation methods
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Investment or equivalent.
  • 4 – 5 years’ experience in real estate valuations.
  • Superior research and analytical skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English. Multilingual/Arabic is a plus
  • Associate Member of the RICS or RICS APC candidate – Valuation Pathway
