Job Description

The Social Media Executive plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the digital communication strategies for a company. This role involves managing the company’s presence on various social media platforms to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and ultimately contribute to achieving marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset coupled with an analytical eye, allowing them to produce engaging content, monitor social media trends, and analyze performance metrics. Social Media Executives must possess excellent communication skills, stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing developments, and be capable of working collaboratively across different departments. A successful Social Media Executive not only understands the brand’s voice but also authentically bridges that voice with the audience's conversation to build meaningful relationships online.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's social media strategy effectively.
  • Create and curate engaging and original content tailored for social media channels.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimization as needed.
  • Analyze social media metrics to track success and optimize future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with designers and writers to ensure content aligns with brand standards.
  • Communicate with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design, ensuring brand consistency across platforms.
  • Follow and analyze social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with marketing, public relations, and communications departments.
  • Assist in developing content calendars and scheduling planned social media posts.
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns and budget allocations.
  • Stay informed about upcoming social media tools, trends, and applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in social media or digital marketing roles.
  • Demonstrable experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience using social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box in content creation.
