As Skywards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for reporting analysis and distribution of data to Emirates Loyalty to drive a data first approach. Make improvements to the data lifecycle, from the way data is extracted and prepared to the way analysis and segmentation is performed and presented through to data distribution and utilized within the department. Engage with relevant internal departments like enterprise analytics, marketing & internal teams to develop data products.

In This Role, You Will

  • Work with teams across loyalty to understand and develop measurement KPIs and set up tracking and measurement. Document measurement frameworks, KPI development and reporting inputs for reference by all teams within loyalty as needed.
  • Develops and applies analytical algorithms and methods where possible with a view of driving and enhancing data systems and streamlining business processes. Continuously improve the businesss data science models, creating industry-leading performance through the leveraging of new and creative data-sources, and employing the latest in machine learning within the department.
  • Responsible for analysing overall performance of data-driven initiatives across the department, service ad-hoc insight requests, and develop visual insight dashboards and reports for consumption by the rest of the department.
  • Engage with the Enterprise Analytics and Warehousing departments in the creation of high quality analyses for all functions of the business and in the definition of metrics that track the businesss performance at different fronts including Enterprise Data Warehouse, Enterprise Data Hub & CRIS Warehouse.
  • Drive a Customer first, data centric decision making culture within Skywards by helping the business quantify and measure the costs.
  • Validate, interpret, and create reports, dashboard & presentations for departmental heads/management, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Champion the use of test and learn methodologies to allows a business to try out new ideas and concepts in order to understand the impact it has on factors such as customer experience, employee productivity and revenue.
  • Collaborate with numerous departments across Emirates, aiding them in the proper use of Skywards data, hence, ensuring the delivery of desired operational results.
  • Build automated dashboards, reports and scorecards for self-service use across the department. Train and support teams in understanding and utilizing the reports to make data-backed decisions.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience in commercial, sales, or a related field.
  • Experience in the execution of data analytics initiatives, leading to the development of useful insights and the improvement of a business performance and driving top-line growth.
  • Working experience in loyalty or commercial
  • Experience in technical expertise of data models, big data, customer/loyalty analysis, CRM database analysis, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Working experience in data science models.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to transform data to insights.
  • Ability to organize well, work under pressure and juggle multiple requests.
  • Knowledge of advanced technologies such as Snowflake, Data IKU, Helix, Python, R, SQL etc.
