Job Description

As a Site Engineer or Site Foreman, you play a vital role in the successful completion of construction projects. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all construction activities on site are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Working under the direction of project managers and with a variety of stakeholders, you will coordinate daily tasks, manage construction teams, and liaise with external contractors. Your role demands technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and an ability to solve problems quickly and effectively. You'll be instrumental in maintaining project schedules, controlling budgets, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations to deliver exceptional results.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities and operations at the construction site.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Manage and oversee the work of sub-contractors and skilled tradespeople.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control standards.
  • Enforce strict site safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and milestones.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress and site activities.
  • Order and ensure the timely delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Coordinate the efficient use of resources and manpower on the site.
  • Keep meticulous records of site activities and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate communication between different teams and stakeholders involved in the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in construction, specifically in site supervision for Fit out & Villa 
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex construction projects efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with project managers, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant IT tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction safety laws and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to interpret and apply engineering designs, plans, and blueprints effectively.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Preferably with DM certificate
