Site Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Electrical Engineer to join our team to oversee electrical projects on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and dynamic individual with a strong background in electrical engineering. They will be responsible for managing and coordinating all electrical activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and adhere to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate all electrical activities on construction sites, including planning, scheduling, and supervising the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop cost-effective and innovative solutions for electrical systems.

- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and regulations.

- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems according to project timelines.

- Manage and mentor a team of electricians and technicians to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

- Monitor and analyze project progress to identify potential risks and create mitigation plans.

- Develop and maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, as-built drawings, and project schedules.

- Responsible for implementing safety protocols and ensuring all work on site meets safety standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site electrical engineering.

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and maintenance.

- Experience in project management and team leadership.

- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.

- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other electrical design software.

- Valid electrical engineering license.
