Service Centre Manager – Middle East

Role

The Service Center Manager (SCM) has responsibility for all activities conducted in SPM facilities, customer facilities where SPM personnel operate, and field service locations across UAE, KSA, Oman and other Middle East locations. Locations may support both Pressure Pumping (PP) or Pressure Control (PC) value streams or a mix of both. The SCM is responsible for delivering forecasted revenue in a safe manner while following Caterpillar’s Code of Conduct.

Requirements

  • Experience in field services in the oil and gas industry
  • Team leadership experience
  • Regional experience in the Middle East

Reporting Lines

The SCM reports directly to the EH General Manager – Pressure Pumping with an indirect reporting line to the EH General Manager – Pressure Control.

SCM works closely with the regional sales team to meet customer expectations. Additionally, the SCM is supported by local, regional & global resources from EHS, Quality, Engineering, Business (Finance), HR and Compliance resources.

Direct reports: Workshop Supervisor (Flow); Workshop Supervisor (Pump); Workshop Supervisor (PC); Operations Support Team Lead; Field Services Team Leads. The SCM manages a team of 30+ across various locations.

Responsibilities

Flow Control

  • Inspection & recertification of flow control equipment following established SPM and industry standards. Inspection is carried out in SPM facility or customer location.
  • Training & competency of inspection personnel.
  • Calibration & maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Logistics – movement of personnel & equipment, journey management.
  • Management of Flow Control Rental Fleet.

Well Service Pumps

  • Assembly, test & certification of new-build equipment
  • Pump repair & overhaul.

Pressure Control Equipment

  • Equipment installation (field services) – wellheads & production trees.
  • Equipment repair, maintenance & inspection to API standards.

Field Services – SPM Simplified Frac System

  • Rig up, operation, maintenance & rig down of equipment on well site locations.
  • Inspection & recertification of equipment following established SPM, API & industry standards.
  • Logistics – movement of personnel & equipment, journey management.

Sales & Commercial Activity

  • Develop cost-pricing strategies in conjunction with sales & commercial team.
  • Contract review & implementation.
  • Provide customer feedback & market intelligence.

Quality

  • Implement requirements of the enterprise QMS.
  • Participate in accreditation body & customer audit programs.
  • Resolution of customer complaints.

Other

  • Prepare CAPEX business case for new investment.

Additional Information

  • Work location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  • Business travel: up to 50% of time.
