Job Description

An SEO Executive is a critical role within the digital marketing team, responsible for implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to drive organic traffic and boost online presence. A successful SEO Executive will possess a thorough understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and linkage management. This role requires close coordination with the content creation, design, and digital marketing teams to ensure the highest possible ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs) for targeted keywords. Continual analysis, testing, and iteration form the backbone of the SEO Executive’s responsibilities, allowing businesses to stay ahead of the competition in the fast-paced digital marketplace. The ability to interpret complex data, evaluate site performance, and make informed recommendations is essential to optimize digital properties for both search engines and users.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to guide content creation and optimize existing content.
  • Analyze website analytics to identify trends and recommend SEO improvements.
  • Monitor and implement technical SEO optimizations for improved website performance and visibility.
  • Develop and execute successful link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce engaging and SEO-friendly content.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates from major search engines.
  • Manage and optimize the company's SEO tools and platforms to track performance metrics.
  • Prepare detailed SEO reports that showcase progress and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with web developers to ensure best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to align SEO strategies with broader business goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend the purchase of new SEO tools and resources to enhance productivity.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members on SEO best practices and techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven hands-on SEO experience with a strong understanding of SERPs and ranking factors.
  • Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written content and copywriting skills.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
