The Senior Structural Engineer is a pivotal role in which the individual will be responsible for leading complex construction projects and delivering innovative engineering solutions. This expertise-driven position demands a comprehensive understanding of structural integrity, materials science, and design optimization to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and sustainably. The successful candidate will oversee the conceptualization, design, and implementation of various infrastructure systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, they will serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. 


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex structural engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers in project teams.
  • Identify potential structural issues and develop innovative engineering solutions.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, designs, and drawings for stakeholders.
  • Supervise site inspections, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering team members.
  • Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations.
  • Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure robust design integrity.
  • Engage with clients to define project objectives and comprehensive deliverables.
  • Support business development by contributing technical insights and proposals.
  • Stay updated with the latest engineering trends and technological advancements.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering practice.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in structural design software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills are required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale engineering projects successfully.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities for junior engineering staff.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
