Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (225-826)

As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of software products by designing and implementing both manual and automated testing processes. In this role, you will work closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand the functional and technical requirements of the projects. Your primary focus will be on identifying bugs, performance issues, and usability problems to ensure software solutions meet both internal standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans across all project phases.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and documentation.
• Conduct thorough regression testing in conjunction with product updates and changes.
• Develop and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs with appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent project implementation and communication.
• Mentor junior quality assurance engineers and help develop their skills and knowledge.
• Participate actively in design reviews and provide feedback on QA aspects.
• Analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect counts and test coverage statistics.
• Continuously enhance knowledge on the latest quality assurance technologies and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance timelines and deliverables throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and their QA processes.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or TestComplete.
• Experience in performance and load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail in testing practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
