Senior Project Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Senior Project Accounting Analyst to manage ME payroll. Fluent English is essential, and multilingual skills is a plus.

Report to Finance controller and assist him in all aspects of consulting projects activities including but not limited to:

• Set of projects in a timely manner.
• Posting of costs to projects via timesheets or invoices as appropriate.
• Revenue recognition on projects where applicable.
• Analysis of the monthly results to understand key hits/ misses and issues within the services.
• Billing of services projects in a timely manner to customers.
• Closing projects as and when appropriate.
• Work with the project managers and PMO to understand the projects as they move through their lifecycle.
• Monitor backlogs and bookings and aid the reporting of both numbers in the management accounts as appropriate.
• Support the services team with any data requests they may have.
• Where applicable, assist with the production of the reporting packs for the Middle East.
• Reconcile the unbilled and Billings in excess accounts as they relate to services.
• Assist with the forecasting process for services.
  
  

Education / Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience in analytical accounting and project accounting.
• The ability to produce information in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent written and spoken English, a confident and concise communicator who has experience of dealing with both finance and non-finance management
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
