*instinctools is looking for an experienced Operations Director to oversee and manage the full spectrum of back-office operations for our India office.

The ideal candidate will ensure legal compliance, streamline accounting and tax processes, manage banking operations, lead HR and recruitment efforts, and maintain efficient office infrastructure. This role is critical in supporting our IT company’s presence and growth in the Indian market.

Our expectations of the ideal candidate: 

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in an IT or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian corporate legal and compliance requirements including GST, TDS, and payroll management.
  • Experience managing banking relationships and mandates.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead HR and recruitment processes effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage physical office infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client and candidate interactions.
  • Ability to handle complex situations with problem-solving skills and professionalism.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Resident Director to maintain the company’s legal presence in India.
  • Manage the Registered Office and ensure compliance with legal address requirements.
  • Oversee accounting and tax filings including GST, TDS, and payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Manage bank mandates and oversee all banking operations related to the India office.
  • Lead HR functions, including the recruitment funnel, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Oversee the physical office and infrastructure, ensuring a productive and safe working environment.
  • Coordinate client and candidate communications, addressing and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Provide comprehensive back-office support to enable smooth operational function and business growth.
