Senior Process Engineer

The Senior Process Engineer will lead the development, optimization, and monitoring of engineering processes in accordance with industry best practices and safety regulations. This role plays a crucial part in improving operational efficiency, product quality, and environmental performance across various industrial or manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in process design, troubleshooting, and project management, particularly within the UAE's regulatory and environmental framework.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize industrial processes to improve performance and reduce costs.

• Analyze production data and process metrics to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

• Lead process engineering projects from concept through commissioning and post-implementation support.

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE and environmental regulations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including R&D, quality, and operations.

• Prepare detailed documentation including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and technical specifications.

• Evaluate and select process equipment and oversee installation and commissioning.

• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.

• Train operations staff on new systems and updated processes.

• Participate in audits, regulatory inspections, and process safety reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering within oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.

• Proven expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD).

• Strong knowledge of UAE environmental, HSE, and industrial compliance standards.

• Experience in conducting HAZOP studies and safety analyses.

• Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering documentation tools.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
