Senior Inspector - Event Floor Plan

Core Duties & Responsibilities
Review all submitted Events and Exhibition Floor Plan
- Conduct initial and final review of all submitted Floor plan
- Approve the events floor plan if found no noncompliance to DWTC Health and Safety Rules and Regulations
- Monitor the event set up on site as per the approved floor plan and implement the HSE Rules and Regulations
DWTC & other Destination Master floor plan updates (yearly)
Reports
- Upload approved Event floor plan into the system
- Generating general inspection report
- Prepare a report of noncompliance during the site inspection
- Reconcile monthly report of Floor plan Summary review
- DCD Review and Approval Tracker
- Event floor plan less than two weeks report
Formulate & Develop Procedures/Guidelines:
- To update the Health and Safety Rules and Regulations, Procedure and Guidelines, DWTC Master Floor Plan, DEC Master floor plan and other external venues
- Updating the H&S Rules and Regulations as per the DM, DCD and DTCM and other Local Government and International Guidelines
Operating Environment
- Due to the nature of the work, timings may be affected by the ongoing events, the job requires a lot of onsite presence throughout the venue and unsociable working hours (mostly evenings, weekends and public holidays) as per each event’s operational requirements
- Events are taking place mostly indoors however some elements may take place outdoor, and some events may take place in offsite venues managed by DEC. Meetings may also take place at clients’ premises
Formal Education
Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent certification courses
Work Experience
Minimum of 2-year experience in the event industry
Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Computer literacy essential
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and Email
- Report Writing
- IOSH certified
- AutoCAD
- NEBOSH I.G.C.
- Where he can cover for any fire safety related emergencies and enquiries.
