As part of our strategic growth, we are looking for a highly skilled and analytical Financial Controller to join our team and lead the development of a robust financial reporting and KPI system across the UAE and wider Middle East.

Your Responsibilities

Set up and manage a holistic reporting and KPI system to track financial and operational performance.

Act as the Controlling and Performance Management lead for all UAE and Middle East operations.

Deliver financial planning support for new business cases and market expansion initiatives.

Monitor budgets, analyse deviations, and engage in meaningful discussions with cost centre owners.

Provide forecasting and pipeline analysis to improve planning and accuracy.

Work as a strategic sparring partner to operations, offering insights that support data-driven decision-making.

Collaborate with the Finance Manager Accounting, local finance teams, and stakeholders across departments.

Maintain regular communication with our Hamburg HQ and other Engel & Völkers regions to align on best practices.

Support cost control initiatives and enhance overall business efficiency.

Continuously improve reporting processes, data quality, and KPI relevance.

Your Profile

Proven experience in controlling, financial analysis, and performance management.

In-depth understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insight.

Experience in developing reporting tools and implementing financial planning systems.

Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and C-level executives.

Proactive and independent with excellent time management skills.

Accuracy- and quality-driven mindset with a structured, end-to-end approach to tasks.

A strong communicator and team player.

Technical Skills Required

Advanced MS Excel (modelling, analysis, dashboards)

Strong business planning and modelling skills

Experience working with Lucanet

Familiarity with BI/Data tools

Fluent English (written and verbal)

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, ACCA, or CA Inter

Nice to Have

Experience with Tableau

Background in the real estate industry

Exposure to international finance teams or global businesses
