The SAP Retail Lead plays a critical role in driving end-to-end SAP implementation projects that are specifically tailored for the retail sector. • Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Retail, managing all project phases including initial blueprinting, configuration, testing, and final go-live activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and enhance Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and clients in the UAE, customizing SAP solutions to ensure compliance with local business practices and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate engaging workshops, blueprint sessions, and frequent stakeholder meetings to align objectives and establish a clear project vision.
• Ensure a solid post-implementation support framework enabling effective system stabilization, particularly sensitive to high-volume retail environments.
• Foster continuous improvement post-implementation by identifying opportunities for further enhancements in the SAP ecosystem.

A successful candidate will possess:

• At least 10 years of extensive experience working with SAP products, including a minimum of 3 to 4 full-cycle implementations in the retail domain.
• A robust track record of engaging with UAE clients, providing ongoing support and optimization services post-implementation.
• Expertise in SAP modules, particularly FICO, MM, and SD, with a strong focus on integration capabilities with third-party systems.
• Experience with SAP ISU Modules FICA, encompassing expertise in payment integration and dunning processes, to enhance client engagements.

Additionally, you should be comfortable navigating dynamic project environments and adept at tailoring solutions to meet diverse client needs.

• A robust knowledge base in SAP Retail and S/4HANA, with significant experience in areas such as Merchandise Management, Planning & Promotions, and execution of Markdown Planning.
• Solid experience in utilizing Customer Activity Repository (CAR), leveraging POS Data, OPP, OAA, and demonstrating adeptness in Merchandising/Assortment Planning.
• A natural leader, capable of guiding teams through complex projects and nurturing strong client relationships that foster trust and collaboration.
• Familiarity with SAP Commerce Cloud and concepts of headless architecture and microservices represents a valuable advantage.
• Exceptional communication skills are paramount, paired with strong stakeholder management capabilities to ensure all parties are effectively aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
