Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Buyer to join our procurement team. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the purchasing activities across our organization. This position involves vendor negotiation, relationship management, and ensuring that the procurement processes align with the company’s goals and policies. You will be responsible for sourcing products, analyzing market trends, and ensuring cost-effectiveness in procurement while maintaining high standards of quality. Your expertise will be essential in driving operational efficiency, minimizing costs, and enhancing our supply chain operations. We look for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to help drive our supply chain strategies and achieve business targets.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve the best financial terms.
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers to enhance procurement capabilities.
  • Manage existing supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and value.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely supply of materials and products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast procurement needs accurately.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in procurement processes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
  • Continuously seek and implement improvements in the procurement process.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
