Within The Scope Of The Customer Presales Engineering Center Growth, We Are Looking For An Experienced Scrum Master To Help Build The Foundations And The Ramp-up Of The Methodology In Teams To Be Selected. In-line With The Official Scrum Guide & True To Servant Leadership, As One Of Our Scrum Masters, You Will Be Accountable For
- Together with Customer Engineering Center Stakeholders, identify and prioritize appropriate Teams to setup with business rational development
- Establishing a healthy Scrum practice -- helping everyone understand Scrum theory & practice, both within your Scrum Team & outside of it.
- Improvement of your Scrum Teams effectiveness -- enabling it to continuously improve its practices within the Scrum framework.
What You’ll Do
The
Scrum Master serves the Scrum Team by:
- Ensuring that all Scrum events take place, are positive, productive & on-time
- Coaching team members in self-organisation & cross-functionality
- Helping the Product Owner find techniques for effective Product Goal definition, Product Backlog management & release planning
- Proactively removing Impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress
- Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as needed
- Ensuring that Scrum is understood & enacted for true continuous improvement
The Scrum Master Also Serves The Wider Organisation By
- Being engaged in continuous learning & the promotion of Agility, training & advising colleagues on their Scrum adoption
- Helping the organisation engage in an empirical approach to managing complex work
- Removing barriers between stakeholders & Scrum Teams
In a Scrum at Scale environment, the Scrum Master will also participate in the Scrum of Scrums, to help coordinate impediment removal, cross-team dependencies, continuous improvement experiments & concerted product delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
Skills
- Previous experience coaching teams or projects to success, effectively managing stakeholders
- Any official Scrum Certification (CSM, CSPO, CSD, RSM, PSM I) is a plus
- Familiarity with common Agile practices, the Scrum Guide & iterative/incremental development
- Understanding of the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
- Understanding of the value of metrics & Agile KPIs such as velocity, sprint burndown, cummulative flow, process efficiency & happiness metrics
- Understanding of User Stories & the Definition of Ready
- Basic fundamentals of service-oriented environments
- Familiarty with Project Management Software (JIRA, Trello, Asana, Azure Boards, etc.)
- Able to garner respect from a team, guiding it to self-organisation
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills; Able to facilitate discussion, propose alternatives & proactively chase impediment removal.
- Seeks responsibility & takes ownership, valuing speed & simplicity; Leads by example.
- Challenges the status quo & makes it okay to disagree; Fosters a climate of safety, learning & true continuous improvement
