Job Description

A Sales Promoter plays a pivotal role in boosting sales for the products or services they represent. This position involves engaging directly with potential customers at various sales venues to promote product features, benefits, and values effectively. Sales Promoters are positioned as the face of the brand, responsible for creating a memorable and positive impression to drive purchase decisions. They are skilled in communication, able to articulate product details, answer questions, and manage any objections. By developing a comprehensive understanding of the products, Sales Promoters become an integral part of a marketing team, contributing to increased brand awareness and revenue growth. Responsibilities

  • Promote and educate potential customers about the brand’s products and features.
  • Engage with prospects and provide a compelling sales pitch to encourage purchases.
  • Answer customer inquiries confidently with accurate product or service information.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Set up and manage promotional displays or product demonstrations as needed.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the products for sales and customer engagement.
  • Provide feedback from customers to help improve the product and service offerings.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards customer interaction at all times.
  • Track and report on sales activities and customer interactions periodically.
  • Participate in marketing events or trade shows to promote products and gather leads.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure unified customer messaging and delivery.
  • Ensure proper stock levels of promotional materials and products at sales sites.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales promotion or a similar customer interaction role required.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets within designated timeframes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills providing a positive user experience are essential.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex product information clearly to customers.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; further education in marketing is advantageous.
