Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager Retail Distribution, the Account Manager’s principal responsibilities would be to develop and manage relationships with distribution partners.
Job Accountabilities
As Sales Manager, your role will involve:
Relationship Management: - Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distribution partners. Act as the primary point of contact for distributors, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
Sales Strategy: - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve retail sales targets. Identify new business opportunities and potential distributor partnerships. Keep up with market trends and competition analysis to upscale sales strategies.
Performance Monitoring: - Track and analyze distributor performance against sales targets. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and distributor activities.
Training and Support: - Provide training and support to distributors to ensure they are knowledgeable about Zurich Insurance products and services. Develop and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Collaboration: - Work closely with all teams in the organization to ensure smooth business flow. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address challenges faced by distributors.
Compliance: - Ensure all distributor activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. - Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and ensure distributors are updated accordingly.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field
3-5 years of Experience in Sales and Distribution within Life insurance industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing distributor relationships.
Strong understanding of insurance products and distribution channels.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling client, broker, and partner information.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on regulatory developments.
