Job Description

The Sales Manager - Power is a pivotal role within the energy sector, responsible for driving sales strategies and ensuring the growth of the company’s power segment. This position requires a dynamic and knowledgeable individual who can navigate the complexities of the power industry, while leading a team to achieve sales targets and expand market share. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of energy market trends, have experience in sales management, and demonstrate strong leadership skills. The Sales Manager - Power will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with clients, and collaborating with other departments to optimize service delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and goal attainment.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Analyze market dynamics and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute effective sales and promotional campaigns.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.
  • Oversee the negotiation and closure of complex power sales contracts with major clients.
  • Monitor and report on customer satisfaction and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of power industry trends, technologies, and government regulations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance product offerings based on client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience of at least five years in sales management within the power sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve measurable targets.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis and competitive intelligence strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools to drive performance.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry conferences, and business development activities.
