Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our company's sales team, responsible for maximizing sales revenue and meeting or exceeding corporate-set goals. Your role is pivotal in strategizing and implementing effective sales plans that align with business objectives while managing a diverse team of sales professionals. You will oversee client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by maintaining a high standard of service. Being the face of the sales department, you'll serve as a mentor and motivator, encouraging team members to unlock their full potential and achieve exceptional results. Your ability to analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and make informed decisions will be crucial to propel the business forward.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals effectively.
  • Review market trends to identify and capture new business opportunities.
  • Set individual sales targets and ensure they are consistently met by the team.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients to foster customer loyalty and retention.
  • Analyze sales statistics and prepare reports for management evaluation.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to deliver cohesive sales campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly to stay competitive.
  • Provide training and coaching to sales staff for skill enhancement and professional development.
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Conduct performance reviews and establish performance improvement strategies when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical sales practices at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and utilize it for strategic decision making.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is preferred.
