Job Description

The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing schedules, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes. This position requires someone who has a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. As a Sales Coordinator, you will be pivotal in helping the sales team achieve their targets by managing communications, processing orders, and maintaining customer relationships. You will also act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure that customer queries are addressed efficiently and effectively. Your ability to maintain a positive attitude and a professional demeanor will contribute significantly to the success of the sales department and the organization as a whole.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales team activities and handle administrative tasks to support sales performance.
  • Prepare and manage sales documentation, reports, and presentations for team meetings.
  • Maintain and update customer records and sales databases with timely information.
  • Communicate with customers to provide information or respond to inquiries as needed.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating sales events, promotional campaigns, and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align sales strategies and activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Process sales orders and ensure that terms and conditions are met by all parties involved.
  • Identify potential sales leads and opportunities through research and follow-up calls.
  • Help the sales team in preparing for negotiations and closing sales deals effectively.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales performance metrics and report discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination, sales support, or a similar role is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear stakeholder interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for data management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and high-quality deliverables to customers.
