Job Description

As a Sales Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for our organization. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic plans to expand our market presence. This position requires a proactive and dynamic individual who is passionate about sales, has a deep understanding of market dynamics, and can effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our product offerings and ensure that we meet our sales targets. Your efforts will directly contribute to the organization's success and long-term objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Identify and assess potential business development opportunities in various markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department to align on lead generation activities.
  • Analyze market trends and data to inform sales strategies and objectives.
  • Lead sales presentations and negotiations to close deals with new prospects.
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop counter strategies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and best practices in all sales activities.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote business opportunities.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract signing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development roles.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex sales situations.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed.
