Safety Compliance Officer

The Safety Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that safety regulations and standards are met within the organization. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and programs to safeguard employees and the environment. The Safety Compliance Officer will monitor workplace practices, conduct risk assessments, and provide guidance on compliance with safety legislation. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a safety compliance or related role.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with diverse employee groups.
• Proficiency in writing reports and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Certification in safety management or similar accreditation preferred.
