Role Description:
As a Risk Engineering Consultant, you’ll spend 80–90% of your time leading and executing complex consulting projects in your area of expertise—such as asset integrity, inspection, process safety, operational maintenance, or reliability. You’ll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, delivering assessments and recommendations that align with international best practices and client needs. Your SME depth will help shape integrated solutions for clients, while your commercial acumen will support business development and growth. You’ll engage directly with senior leadership and C-suite executives, representing our consultancy at industry events and contributing to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver consulting projects in your SME area, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.
- Provide specialist input across disciplines, leveraging and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
- Develop frameworks, assessments, and recommendations tailored to client objectives and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, supporting proposals and cross-selling initiatives.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development of best practices.
- Travel up to 30–40% annually, including site visits and short-notice assignments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (Process Safety, Mechanical, Chemical, Reliability, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years’ experience in risk engineering, consultancy, or related industry roles.
- Recognized SME in asset integrity, inspection, process safety, or reliability, with certifications in API standards (API 510, API 579).
- Familiarity with international frameworks and standards (OSHA, CCPS, OIMS, ISO, API, NFPA).
- Strong communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
- Proven track record of technical project delivery and business development.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in fast-paced, international environments.
- English fluency required; Arabic desirable.
- Valid passport and ability to secure visas for regional/international travel.
