A Retail Sales Executive is a dynamic role within the retail industry, focused on driving sales and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences for products.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the store's product offerings and key features.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set by management on a monthly basis.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Provide feedback to management about market trends and customer insights.
  • Assist in the visual merchandising of products to enhance the store’s appeal.
  • Stay informed about product updates and promotions to relay information to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and returns professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales training and workshops to improve sales techniques.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management regarding sales performance.
  • Coordinate with inventory staff to ensure product availability and timely restocking.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales or business is a plus.
  • Proven experience in retail sales with a strong customer service record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer interactions concurrently.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
