Summary

Job Summary:

As a Reservations Officer for the cluster of Hyatt Place Dubai Hotels, you will be responsible for handling guest reservation requests efficiently and professionally across all four properties. You will ensure accuracy in bookings, maximize occupancy and revenue opportunities, and deliver exceptional service standards aligned with Hyatt values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all reservation requests via phone, email, and other channels for all four Hyatt Place Dubai Hotels.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of room rates, packages, promotions, and hotel offerings across the cluster.
  • Maximize room revenue through upselling techniques and applying correct rate codes.
  • Ensure all reservations are accurately entered in the system with proper details, special requests, and payment information.
  • Respond to guest inquiries in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure smooth arrival experiences and accurate forecasting.
  • Handle group bookings, FIT reservations, and corporate account requests as per SOPs.
  • Monitor daily arrivals and special guest requirements to assist Front Office teams.
  • Prepare and review daily reservation reports, availability charts, and no-show statistics.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy policies and reservation procedures.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of bookings and correspondence.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in PMS systems such as Opera or similar.
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced cluster environment.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
  • Must be a team player with a guest-centric attitude.
