Job Description

The Relationship Officer in Corporate Banking plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding the bank's relationships with its corporate clients. Tasked with maintaining a high standard of customer service and satisfaction, the Relationship Officer ensures that the banking products and services effectively meet the needs of corporate clients. This role requires a keen understanding of corporate banking products, thorough knowledge of financial regulations, and a strategic mindset to identify opportunities for client acquisition and growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and a strong capacity to work collaboratively within a team to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate banking clients.
  • Develop customized financial solutions to meet clients' unique business needs.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to assess banking product performance and satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the corporate sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive banking services to clients.
  • Analyze market trends to provide insightful advice to corporate clients.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and proposals to corporate clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal banking policies.
  • Negotiate and execute corporate banking agreements and contracts effectively.
  • Create strategies for account growth and retention of existing clients.
  • Monitor client feedback and implement improvements in service delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and maintain professional expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in corporate banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products, services, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
  • Analytical skills with a keen eye for financial detail and trends.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
