Responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and implement care plans effectively.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions to physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians in a timely manner.
• Instruct patients and their families on health care needs, conditions, and effective treatment plans.
• Collaborate with health care teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and medical records of patients' medical histories and conditions.
• Operate medical equipment and perform diagnostic tests to support patient care activities.
• Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Coordinate lab services for diagnostic testing and communicate results with physicians and patients.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and nursing care standards at all times.
• Advise and educate patients on managing illness, preventing disease, and promoting health.
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving for patient care.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of health information systems and electronic medical records.
• Proficiency in administering and managing medication with great attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on patient care quality.
