We are looking for a driven Project Manager to join our team - Architect background to help our design coordination/project management and AOR activities.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience managing large, complex projects. Experience across multiple industries is an added advantage.
  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in engineering consultancy is preferred.


Business Development

Starting to win and develop new clients with annual targets to be agreed.

Be an ambassador for company/brand at all times and build business with existing clients

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key clients and partners, potential key targets and ensure the delivery of a responsive and professional service

Ability to represent 9E at new project interviews.

Prepare draft fee proposal and review with the Director for final approval and arrange for submission to the client.

Develop business with existing clients and ensure regular feedback is received

Review all key projects within own area of responsibility and proactively engage with clients and partner groups to gather feedback and deliver service improvement initiatives


Project Role

  • Support the successful execution and delivery of projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
  • Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring seamless coordination and timely progress across all phases.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring accountability.
  • Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues to avoid project delays or budget overruns.
  • Act as the primary liaison for project stakeholders, providing consistent updates on status, changes, risks, and challenges. Ensure stakeholder expectations are effectively managed and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources. Report on financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, status reports, and updates for leadership.
  • Prepare conditions of construction contracts for client’s approval and negotiate them with contractors
  • Report any potential problems or risks to the project director as needed in order to mitigate any issues in future.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and align with defined project objectives.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met. Address any delays and rework schedules as necessary to meet project goals.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety codes, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Manage the appointment or coordinate with external consultants or sub consultants for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Reviewing the design deliverables to ensure that they are complete and meet the standards required for each stage/agreement.


Company Role

  • Contribute to the development of the company systems by reviewing existing procedures and commenting using the feedback system.
  • Take part in task groups and represent team that you are working in.
  • Attend team meetings and provide feedback on your/company development.
  • Applying policies relating to health & safety, quality and training.


QHSE Responsibilities

  • Understand, implement and follow 9E QHSE policies.
  • Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
  • Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
  • Report any QHSE incidents immediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
  • Abide Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
