Are you a procurement professional looking to lead strategic sourcing and drive operational excellence? We’re hiring a Procurement Lead to join our Administration Division. In this pivotal role, you’ll bridge day-to-day purchasing operations with strategic sourcing initiatives, ensuring our procurement practices are ethical, compliant, and cost-effective.

You will supervise a dedicated team, act as deputy to the Procurement Director, and ensure all procurement and asset-management activities align with CUD’s policies and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert approved requests into purchase orders; consolidate orders for volume advantage.
  • Source, compare, and analyze vendor bids in line with procurement thresholds.
  • Maintain supplier records, contracts, and vendor performance scorecards.
  • Oversee inspection, tagging, and recording of incoming assets and inventory.
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls and procurement regulations.
  • Lead process improvements, reporting and digital tool integration.
  • Manage and mentor procurement officers and assistants.
  • Promote ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible sourcing practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • 5–7 years of relevant procurement and asset management experience.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in higher education or public-sector environments is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel and data-analysis capabilities.
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT and customs regulations.
