The United Arab Emirates University is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Computational Mathematics. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in mathematics, specializing in relevant fields such as optimization and scientific computing. Priority will be given to candidates with profound theoretical and practical expertise in these domains. Applicants should be deeply committed to delivering high-quality education at both undergraduate and graduate levels. They should showcase research proficiency, enabling the establishment and maintenance of internally and/or externally funded research in Mathematics related to Computational Mathematics. Additionally, candidates are expected to publish their research findings in esteemed, peer-reviewed journals. The Department envisions this position as a significant stride toward fostering interdisciplinary research, addressing scientific and technological challenges across various domains and industries related to the UAEs priority areas. Minimum Qualification

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Mathematics.

Preferred Qualification

Postdoctoral experience with a strong record of teaching and research at higher education institutions. Excellent communication skills in English. Solid theoretical and practical expertise in Optimization and Scientific Computing (with emphasis on advanced methods rather than software end-user applications).
