Responsibilities

  • Management of M&E deliverables from concept design to construction stage support, to project scheduling and budget on a variety of building projects
  • Closely monitor and ensure the profitability of projects undertaken by the team
  • Set up efficient project monitoring, delivery and implementation strategy including overseeing the technical performance, timely and profitable execution of all projects
  • Establishing competent delivery systems / resources and implementing adequate QA/QC systems for all stages of the projects
  • Ensure team members adhering to Company rules and regulations and comply with ISO Quality Procedures
  • Provide technical guidance to the project and design engineers and resolve any technical problems faced during project design and / or construction stages.
  • Undertake responsibilities of Qualified Person and/or Licensed Electrical Worker for the projects.
  • Manage costs, cash-flow and profitability of all projects
  • Resource Planning, adjustments and redeployment to match project’s workload
  • Assist the Directors and team leaders in Tender Submissions.
  • Prepare technical presentations.
  • Train and mentor Engineers.
  • Preparation and ownership of a Business Plan.
  • Identify, pursue and win work based on the Business Plan and KPIs agreed.
  • Participate in Business Development and Marketing.
  • Lead and direct Bids.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
  • Candidate should ideally be registered as a Professional Engineer in Singapore with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline or Chartered or Fellowship status with a relevant institution
  • At least 15 years of relevant consultancy experience with reputable Consulting Engineering practices in Singapore or overseas.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and knowledge, with proven track record of successful completion of projects on time and within budget in Infrastructure, Commercial, Retail, Hotels/Leisure, Hospital/Healthcare, Mission Critical Facilities
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage and lead teams
  • Client interfacing and management skills and experience
