Job Description

The Operations Manager-Logistics is crucial in managing and optimizing our logistics operations. This position requires a strategic thinker who can oversee our logistics team's day-to-day activities while ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our supply chain processes. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating with various departments to streamline operations, improve productivity, and deliver excellent customer service. This role demands strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. We are looking for a proactive individual who can assess logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to enhance operations.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily logistics operations ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize logistics processes.
  • Coordinate with departments to align logistics strategies with company objectives.
  • Monitor transport and distribution activities to ensure cost-effective delivery solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics or operations management roles.
  • Proven track record of successful logistics operations management and strategy implementation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to lead a diverse logistics workforce.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard logistics software and technology solutions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strategic approach to logistics challenges.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and manage multiple logistics projects simultaneously.
