Nurse Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assisting nurses and healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care.
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
• Assisting patients with grooming, bathing, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
• Helping patients with mobility issues to move around safely.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients during their stay in the healthcare facility.
• Assisting with meal preparation, feeding patients, and monitoring dietary intake.
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, including changing linens and maintaining patient rooms.
• Transporting patients to different areas of the healthcare facility for tests or procedures.
• Following infection control protocols and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in patient care areas.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the overall well-being and comfort of patients.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
