About The Job

An opportunity has arisen for the Engineering Manager to join tour team in Jumeirah Wild Wadi Waterpark. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• To assist the Director of Engineering in the leadership of the Guest Services and Plant Services Departments; maintaining the physical plant and buildings; capital and operational expense planning and budgeting and up-to-date knowledge of innovations in both the technical and property management fields in order to continually update and improve efficiency in the Department.
• To implement and control the ongoing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Demand Work Order system in order to maintain proper functionality of the park.
• To maintain standards and procedures for equipment, repairs and maintenance and institutes new procedures in order to increase efficiency of labor and product with the approval of the Director of Engineering.
• To operate within and maintain the expense budget by monitoring expenditures and innovating new efficiency driven systems in order to assist in achieving company financial goals.
• To monitor the administration and progress of planned preventative maintenance, work orders and their documentation that is assigned by the Resident Engineer.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications, skills, and competencies:

• University Degree or Diploma in related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a Managerial position
• Previous Engineering experience minimum of 5 years, 3 years waterpark or theme park experience.
• Good Knowledge of MS Office, with excellent communication skills.
