Job Description

The Maintenance Project Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on the meticulous planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance projects. This position demands a proactive leader with exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. As a Maintenance Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, with a deep understanding of multiple maintenance disciplines and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will be leading cross-functional teams and liaising with stakeholders at various levels, including technicians, engineers, contractors, and upper management, to enhance the reliability and safety of our facilities.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance project plans to meet company objectives.
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance projects from initial feasibility through execution and completion.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure projects are executed within financial constraints.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks, and managing workflow effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure projects are on track and standards are maintained.
  • Prepare and present detailed project status reports to stakeholders and upper management.
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate project impact.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and refining processes and procedures.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within the maintenance or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, techniques, and safety standards.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and costs.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with diverse stakeholder levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project, Primavera, etc.
