Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the key individual responsible for managing and optimizing our comprehensive logistics operations. Your central role in the supply chain management team will require you to coordinate and oversee the distribution and transportation of goods, ensuring that they are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will liaise with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure all logistics operations align with the company's goals and customer expectations. Your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems proactively, and communicate effectively will be crucial to the success and smooth functioning of the logistics operations.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Utilize logistics software to optimize shipment processes and track shipments.
  • Ensure company compliance with laws and regulations on logistics activities.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Maintain logs of tracking reports, logistics updates, and process documents.
  • Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials to prevent shortages.
  • Analyze data to assess performance, implement improvements, and manage costs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and transport operators.
  • Evaluate budgetary requirements and facilitate suggestions for improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics operations.
  • Identify and implement strategies to reduce transportation costs and delivery time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as a logistics coordinator in a similar business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and methodologies are essential.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills needed.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements affecting logistics.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and negotiation abilities are mandatory.
